High Plains Chapter of Pheasants Forever is once
again gearing up for our annual “FUNdraising” Banquet.
This year’s banquet will be held Saturday April 12, 2008
beginning at 5:30 P.M. at the Pine Bluffs Community
Center located at 708 Lawson Street in Pine Bluffs,
Wyoming.
Since it’s inception in 1982 Pheasants Forever has
helped improve over 3 million acres of wildlife habitat
nationally and provided support for the purchase of
90,000 acres of land that is now open to public hunting.
Locally we have helped provide funding for many
projects, including water guzzlers, grass waterways,
woody cover, and support for local youth groups to help
get them involved in conservation and hunting
activities.
First we would like to take this opportunity to thank
you for your past support of Pheasants Forever. Without
this support many of the conservation activities in this
county would not have happened. We also hope to include
you in this years fun filled evening of games, silent
auction, live auction and gun give-a-ways. As you know
this has been a well attended banquet in the past and we
limit attendance to 250 people due to the seating at our
facility. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in
advance, if we receive them by April 2, 2007 you will
be automatically entered in our early bird drawing for a
gun and your tickets will be mailed to you. This will
also guarantee you a place in the banquet line where we
will be serving Rocky Mountain oysters and smoked
turkey. Ticket requests received after April 2, 2006
will be available at the door the night of the banquet.
100% of the net proceeds of our banquet remain for use
in our local area for various
conservation and youth projects. Our success depends
on your involvement you are invited to become involved
as a committee member helping to organize and put on
this banquet, become a sponsor, make a donation of cash
or merchandise or just buy tickets and come enjoy the
evening and support this activity.
Please contact Glenn Manley
during the day at 307 245-3649, or 307 245-9393 in the
evening if you have questions concerning this year’s
banquet. We look forward to seeing you at the banquet.
Sincerely,
Glenn Manley
